Egad.

What's that you say? The blog has resurrected, you say? Has Jenny really pulled herself together within the last year and a half enough to blog, or is it merely an impostor? Nope. Just an impostor. Because, let me tell ya- there's no way on earth anyone with three kids ages 4 and under can "pull themselves together", per se. It's just a constant state of madness.

That being said, I've decided to start blogging again. Again..... I often recommit, huh?

So how did we come to back to the magical land of Rexburg, you ask?

Well, one day, our most favorite people- Bill and Bridget Storm- called us up to chat. There was a job opening on BYU-Idaho's website for someone in the Animal Science Department. The Storms called on a Friday evening, and we decided that first thing on Monday morning, Shaun would call his old advisor (the current department head) to "test the waters" and see if it was worth applying for. Longest. Weekend. Of. My. LIFE.

Fast forward a few months, and obviously things worked out more beautifully than we ever could have imagined. Here we are-- living the dream! People always tease us when we tell them that this is our dream job, in our dream location. Honestly, there's no where else we'd rather be. Cows, ice, country and all! (Riley still pees his pants in excitement whenever he sees a "real cowboy").

Life is beautiful. We love our townhouse that we're renting, we love our neighbors (the cutest couple EVER), we love our ward, Shaun loves his job more than anyone has ever loved their job in the history of careers, and we just hope and pray that after 3 years, they decide to keep it permanent. If not... I'm sure we'll find another place we love, but Rexburg will always hold such a special place in our hearts.

There. Sappy. Gooey. Mushy. Just like warm oatmeal. Bet ya feel like you've been deprived the last year, eh? :) Peace.
